The basic Guitar theory you need to know

I've been playing guitar since 2006 2007 and i've seen many guys arguing about the theoretical knowledge of music and guitar. Friends! to be honest. As a beginner guitarist you just need to know a very few things. Don't try to go deeper into this stuff as music is an ever growing field of knowledge.
i summerised the guitar theory into a few points that you need to remember.

There are 12 universal notes(including sharps)
A A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G#
now you can see that there is no sharp in between B and C, and also between E and F

There are 6 strings in a guitar named From thickest to thinnest as.

1. E
2. A
3. D
4. G
5. B
6. e

an open string will ring the same note as it is named. for example if u ring you 4th string open...it will sound a G note.
following is a full fret board of a normal guitar with notes mentioned

 Just go through them while holding your guitar and say the note you along you play it..

there are many kind of chords in the guitaring world but you just need to know a few in order to play well as a biggener...don't make things complicated by using difficult chords. Modern day music is not that complicated.
